Stand Up For Your City!

No Casino Toronto, a group of concerned citizens, believes that a mega casino will be detrimental to Toronto and should not receive the support of City Council.  Contrary to the claims of Paul Godfrey, the OLG Chair, and popular misconceptions, a mega casino does not make economic sense; it will not bring in tourist dollars but rather will have a devastating impact on local restaurants, bars, hotels and theatre.  It will also have a serious social impact including increased crime, problem gambling, bankruptcies, traffic gridlock and parking problems.

No Casino Toronto has done extensive research and consulted with several City Councillors, as well as representatives from the business, arts, academic, entertainment and faith communities. We welcome this opportunity to bring our concerns about OLG’s plans for Toronto to City Council.
