In February, I wrote a blog post that asked questions about what rural Ontario is. Is it a Statistics Canada definition? Is it a culture? Is it farmland that is gradually being swallowed by suburban sprawl? When we talk about rural Ontario are we sure that we’re all referring to the same place?
We received a lot of feedback on that blog post and on March 14, we plan to devote a program to the question.
Before that program, we’d like to know what you think rural Ontario is. Please send us your pictures that you believe represent rural Ontario. Include a very brief explanation of how your picture symbolizes rural Ontario. We’ll add them to this blog post and to our Pinterest page.
Pictures can be sent to: agendaconnect@tvo.org
We look forward to seeing your photos and reading your descriptions.
